This weekend Thor-Christian Ebbesvik is back behind the wheel after his back injury that forced him to miss the 24 hours of Le Mans.
-I'm so looking forward to the race in Portugal this weekend. My back doesn't hurt any more, and I have trained good lately. But I will bring my physio to the race, just in case, the 26 year old from Norway says.
Ebbesvik had to skip this years 24 hour race at Le Mans because of a back injury he got after a shunt in the Le Mans Series round at Spa. But now he's back for Team Bruichladdich in the LMP2-class at Portimao, Portugal.
-The goal is to finnish top three. The race will start Saturday at five and finnish at eleven, so the last part will be in the dark. That will be fun.
Thor-Christian Ebbesvik has impressed the sportscar world with his speed both at Paul Ricard and Spa. Sometimes he has been the fastets LMP2 driver out there.
-My future is in sportscar racing, so my aim is to impress this weekend also.
Ebbesvik shares the car with Karim Ojjeh and Tim Greaves, and you can follow the race on www.lemans-series.com
